Some people (me) are suited to behind-the-scenes theatre work…
November 10th, 2019

There’s a very good reason why I’ve gravitated to producing theatre in recent years… This is proof that choreography is NOT my strength…

Producing is so incredibly rewarding to me, personally. To get immersed in so many facets of a theatre show, from the concept to building and motivating the whole team, to publicity, to budget management, to project management and logistics: it’s thrilling to watch it all come together.

And most importantly, it’s vital to have the right people in the right roles…
Like having TALENTED people dance, and keeping an uncoordinated producer behind the scenes!

Thank you to the 100+ people who auditioned for Musical Theatre Productions’ JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. We really saw our community’s spirit and impressive talent. You all made our job of whittling down our cast a difficult process, for we had so much great ability to choose from. Auditioning isn’t easy work – it takes guts and preparation. It is SO appreciated… from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
